Filipendula ulmaria (Meadowsweet) MT
Meadowsweet mother tincture (Filipendula ulmaria or Spiraea ulmaria) is a concentrated hydroalcoholic extract of fresh plants. Nicknamed “plant-based aspirin,” it is particularly renowned in herbal medicine for its anti-inflammatory and drainage properties.
Indications:
Joint and muscle comfort: Thanks to its content of salicylic derivatives (natural precursors of aspirin), it effectively relieves pain associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatism, muscle aches, and headaches.
Detoxification and drainage: Rich in flavonoids and potassium salts, it has strong diuretic properties. It is ideal for combating water retention and edema, or as a supplement during a weight-loss regimen.
Flu-like symptoms: Its antipyretic action helps lower fever and soothe cold symptoms.
