Basic subscription

COMPOSITION

  • Trianosperma ficifolia 5CH: anti-inflammatory for the respiratory and digestive mucous membranes, particularly indicated for serous effusions

  • Argemone mexicana 5CH: pulmonary anti-inflammatory, sedative, and anti-asthmatic.

Main Indication

Poconéol No. 53 is traditionally presented as:

  • a remedy for pulmonary inflammation;

  • a remedy for inflammatory reactions of the pleura, with or without fluid (dry pleurisy or pleural effusion).

It is therefore part of the complexist approach to inflammatory conditions of the lower respiratory tract, used in conjunction with medical treatment.

Traditional scope of use

  • Its use in complexist phytotherapy typically covers:

  • pleural-type chest pain (side stitch upon deep breathing, coughing, or movement);

  • inflammatory sequelae of pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, or pleurisy;

  • support for chronic pulmonary inflammation.

Poconéol No. 53 can be used alongside single-strain remedies such as Aconite 4 CH (initial acute phase, before sweating) and Bryonia 15 CH (chest pain aggravated by movement and coughing), which may be used as adjuncts.
