Ribes Nigrum gemmae

Basic subscription

Ribes Nigrum gemmae is a gemmotherapy remedy prepared from the fresh buds of the blackcurrant plant (Ribes nigrum), using the BMG method - Bourgeons Macérât Glycériné, meaning a glycerinated macerate of buds. Traditionally used for its anti-inflammatory and adaptogenic properties, it may help support adrenal function, regulate immune responses, and promote resilience during periods of stress or fatigue. In allergology, it may help manage hay fever and allergic rhinitis. In rheumatology, it may help relieve rheumatic and joint pain, osteoarthritis, and tendonitis. Ribes Nigrum is especially valued for its natural “cortisone-like” action and may help reduce inflammation and hypersensitivity without the side effects of synthetic corticosteroids.
