Myodural Connection PEMF – Level 1
The Posterior Atlanto-Occipital Membrane (PAOM) is a thin connective tissue layer connecting the posterior arch of C1 to the skull base, forming a critical part of the Myodural Bridge system through its connection with the spinal dura at the foramen magnum. It plays several key roles: transmitting mechanical forces between upper cervical movement and the dura, influencing CSF flow, and stabilizing head movement. When dysfunctional, the PAOM can contribute to headaches, neck pain, dizziness, and autonomic symptoms. This structure is especially vulnerable in Cranial Cervical Instability (CCI), a condition often triggered by concussions, whiplash, or compromised collagen quality. This PEMF delivers targeted frequencies to restore function in the surrounding ligaments, tendons, occipital bone, C1, C2, and dural membranes.
